  • Clothing/Jewelry Description: A green t-shirt with "Captain Joel" on the breast, a blue long-sleeved shirt, blue size 30x30 Dickies pants, a black and aqua skin suit, a wide yellow gold weddng band, a 18- to 19-inch gold Figuero necklace with a large-mouth bass charm, a black watch, and possibly size 8 hip waders with cleats.     Details of Disappearance

    Thompson was last seen in Lewes, Delaware after 11:30 p.m. on April 26, 2010. He went fishing at his usual spot at the Indian River Inlet on the south side of the rock jetty. He has never been heard from again. His fishing pole, bait and tackle box were later found on the jetty, and his locked Toyota Tacoma truck was parked in the nearby lot.

    Authorities believe Thompson fell off the jetty or was knocked off by a wave, and drowned. His body was never recovered and may have been swept out to sea. His wife is attempting to have him declared legally dead.
