Tillinghast was last seen in Wassaic, New York on September 24, 1973. She was employed by the Wassaic State School at the time. She has never been heard from again. Tillinghast is originally from the Ontario County, New York area, and maintained regular contact with her loved ones prior to her disappearance. They have not heard from her since 1973.
