Tran was last seen leaving his home on Kalani Street in Honolulu, Hawaii at 12:00 p.m. on June 26, 2007. He has never been heard from again. At the time of his disappearance he frequented the Waikiki area during the evenings played music on his guitar passers-by. Few details are available in his case.
