Details of Disappearance
Vega was abducted by a non-family member from Mexicali, Mexico on January 29, 1994. He is believed to have been taken into the United States. Few details are available in Vega's case, which remains unsolved.The Charley Project does not usually profile cases of people who disappeared outside the U. S. An exception was made in Vega's case because he is thought to be in the U. S. now, and because Calexico, California authorities are investigating Vega's case.
