  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male. Graying light brown hair, hazel eyes. Wardwell has a graying brown beard. He wears eyeglasses and he has a gunshot wound scar on his abdomen.

    Details of Disappearance

    Wardwell was last seen in Thornton, Colorado on November 12, 2008. He has never been heard from again. He was reported missing on November 19, after he missed work. His truck was found in Larimer County, Colorado on November 23. Prior to his disappearance, Wardwell put all his affairs in order and mailed a large amount of cash to his fmaily in Michigan. Investigators believe he may have committed suicide or left of his own accord, but they can't find any evidence that he was having problems in his life.

    Wardwell worked as a switchman for the Burlington Northern Railroad at the time of his disappearance. His case remains unsolved.
