Details of Disappearance
Westenbarger was last seen leaving Miller's Tavern in the 100 block of west Elm Street, in Kokomo, Indiana at 1:30 a.m. on November 12, 2009. She may have walked to the Hoosier Bar, where her vehicle was parked. She has never been heard from again and her car, a gold 2005 Cadillac CTS with a personalized Ohio license plate reading "MSESTER," is also missing. A photo of the car is posted below this case summary.Westenbarger lived most of her life in Fostoria, Ohio; she attended Fostoria High School and was employed with Findlay Industries for almost twenty years. She accepted a buyout from her employer and moved to a trailer in Kokomo not long before her disappearance in order to be closer to her mother and siblings. Her adult son, who visited her shortly before she went missing, said she appeared to be depressed and regretted moving to Indiana. Westenbarger left all her belongings behind at home, and her loved ones don't believe she left of her own accord; they fear foul play was involved in her disappearance. Her case remains unsolved.
