Missing Since: June 8, 2003 from Douglas, Texas Classification: Endangered Missing Date of Birth: May 13, 1968 Age: 35 years old Height and Weight: 6'2, 160 - 200 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male. Brown hair, blue eyes. Wheeler has numerous scars on both of his forearms and a faded tattoo of skulls on his left forearm. His head was shaved at the time of his disappearance, with a ponytail in the back. Wheeler's nickname is Mike. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A blue Dallas Cowboys t-shirt with the outline of a star on the front and silver stripes across, baggy blue pants, a black belt and gray sneakers with velcro closures.
Details of Disappearance
Wheeler was last seen at approximately 4:00 a.m. on June 8, 2003, departing his residence in the vicinity of County Roard 780 in Douglas, Texas. He was very distraught at the time, for unknown reasons. Sometime after his disappearance, his vehicle was found abandoned in a wooded area in San Augustine County, Texas; its keys were missing. Few details are available in Wheeler's case. His loved ones believe he may have met with foul play.
