Missing Since: July 1995 from Olathe, Kansas Classification: Endangered Missing Date of Birth: September 20, 1970 Age: 24 years old Height and Weight: 5'8, 120 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Brown hair, green eyes. Wilson has a scar on the bridge of her nose and a small tattoo of a heart on her left breast. She may spell her name "Rachel" or go by the nickname Chelle. She may also use the first name Persia. Wilson wears eyeglasses.
Details of Disappearance
Wilson was last seen at her parents' home in Olathe, Kansas sometime during the month of July in 1995. She had moved to Olathe from Topeka, Kansas a short time beforehand. On the day of her disappearance, Wilson packed her bags and some food and told her parents she was "going out of town" and would get in touch with them later. A few weeks later, she called home and left a brief message she was okay. She has never been heard from again. She left behind a young son. Her family did not report her missing until February 14, 1996, six and a half months after she was last seen.Wilson worked as an exotic dancer in Topeka, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri prior to her disappearance. She may have been involved with drugs. Authorities believe her lifestyle put her in danger. Wilson's family thinks she met with foul play, as they do not believe she would willingly abandon her child. Her case remains unsolved.
Some agencies give the date of Wilson's disappearance as August 1, 1995.
