Wood was last seen on July 22, 2004 in Manassas, Virginia. She was abducted by her non-custodial mother, Traci Jean Frederick. Photographs and vital statistics for Frederick are posted below this case summary. A felony warrant was issued for her on September 14, 2004. Wood and Frederick are believed to be in China. The child's case remains unsolved.
