Details of Disappearance
Isabeth was last seen at her mobile park home in the 1500 block of Highway 54 west in Fayetteville, Georgia on December 27, 2010. She apparently sneaked out of the house in the middle of the night and has never been heard from again. Her parents reported her missing the next day at 6:00 a.m. She left a note saying she was leaving with Simon Quintana Gutierrez. She stated she loved him and did not want her parents to try to find her. Gutierrez and Isabeth were next-door neighbors. When her parents found out they had been communicating online, they told her to end relationship with him or they would contact the police.A photo and vital statistics for Gutierrez are posted below this case summary. Investigators initially said the pair were traveling in a borrowed red 1996 Chevrolet Camaro convertible with a black top and the Georgia license plate number BMH2049. This vehicle was was found abandoned at a Publix on south Highway 74 in Peachtree City, Georgia on December 30. Authorities determined Gutierrez and Isabeth crossed the border into Mexico shortly after her disappearance; they may still be there, possibly in the Acapulco area. There is a felony warrant out for his arrest.
Isabeth was a student at Bennetts Mill Middle School in 2010. Her case remains unsolved.
