    Details of Disappearance

    Amine disappeared from Muncie, Indiana on December 29, 2008. He was abducted by his non-custodial father, Omar Zahzouh. A photograph and vital statistics for Omar are posted below this case summary. A felony warrant for abduction was issued for him on March 3, 2009. Omar didn't return Amine home after the Christmas holidays. It was established that Omar left the United States and traveled to France after Amine's abduction, but Amine wasn't with him when he left.

    Amine and Omar may be in Canada, in Noisy Le Sec, France, or in Oran, Algeria. They may be traveling in a light blue four-door 1998 Buick LeSabre. The child's whereabouts are unknown and his case remain unsolved.
