Kathryn Renee Buckley

Buckley, 50, disappeared from Sacramento, California on May 12, 2006. In April 2008, her car was found in the Sacramento River, with her body inside. Authorities believe it had been submerged for a long time. Buckley's death is considered a probable accidental drowning, but it remains under investigation.

Aburto, 70, disappeared from Riverside County, California on April 24, 2007. She was found dead in a ditch near her home. The cause of death was a stab wound to the abdomen. Aburto's death was ruled a suicide.

Dale, 1, was abducted by her non-custodial mother from Soddy Daisy, Tennessee on January 29, 2004. She was found safe in Washington County, Oregon in April 2008. She had been living there with her mother, using a false name. Dale was taken into custody and will be reunited with her searching father.

Daniel Thomas Catoire

Catoire, 27, disappeared from Graham, Washington on July 4, 2007. In April 2008, his body was found in a rural area near Mineral, Washington. He had been killed by a gunshot wound to the head, and a pistol was found next to the body. Authorities believe Catoire took his own life, probably shortly after his disappearance.

Marianne DeMartin

DeMartin, 52, disappeared from Marlton, New Jersey on September 23, 2005. In April 2006, her skeletal remains were found in West Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania. The body was not identified until April 2008, however. A suspect, Alex James Crow, has been arrested for DeMartin's murder. Authorities believe Crow killed DeMartin and hid her body after she caught him burglarizing her home.

Samuel Jay Witcraft

Witcraft, 33, disappeared from Mason County, Washington on January 3, 2005. In April 2008, his remains were found in a wooded area in Grays Harbor County, Washington. The location is a short distance from where Witcraft's car was found nearly three weeks after his disappearance. His death is under investigation.

Rhonda Lee Parks
The Olympian
Parks, 31, disappeared from Salisbury, Maryland on February 3, 2006. In April 2008, her skeletal remains were found stuffed in a steel drum at a vacant lot on the Eastern Shore. Joseph Olandis Walter Hayman Jr. has been arrested and charged with her murder.

Amy O. Giordano

Giordano, 27, disappeared from East Windsor Township, New Jersey on June 7, 2007. She was discovered missing after her baby son was found abandoned in a hospital parking lot. Giordano's married lover, Rosario "Roy" Digirolamo, admitted to abandoning the boy, who is his child. In March 2008, Digirolamo was charged with Giordano's murder. Her skeletal remains were found stuffed inside a suitcase in a pond in Staten Island, New York later that month. They were formally identified in April 2008. Authorities believe Digirolamo killed Giordano because he could no longer financially support her and their son. He is awaiting trial.

Ran Mesika

Mesika, 22, an Israeli national, disappeared while on vacation in Houston, Texas on May 2, 2003. In November 2004, Jonathan Lee Vernier was charged with his murder. Authorities believe Mesika picked up Vernier, a prison escapee who was hitchhiking, and Vernier robbed and murdered him.At his 2008 trial, Vernier admitted to causing Mesika's death but said there had been a fight and he killed Mesika in self-defense. He was convicted of murder in April 2008. He told investigators where to find the body. Mesika's skeletal remains were found in the Bayou Chene in Louisiana and are awaiting official identification by DNA.

Scott, 72, disappeared from Woodland, California on June 3, 2006. He left behind a violent crime scene and a large amount of his blood at his home. Charles Kevin "Buzz" Cunningham, Scott's handyman, was convicted of his murder in October 2007, but Scott's body was not recovered until April 2008. His body was found in a shallow grave near his house.

Glazier, 15, disappeared from Ruch, Oregon on November 6, 1996. In April 2008, her remains were found near Ruch by a man working on his property. Authorities stated Glazier was a homicide victim, but there have been no arrests and little information has been released about her death.
