Albert Miranda-Queiroz, Bimala Miranda-Queiroz, Krishna Chan Miranda-Queiroz and Lakshmi Haley Miranda-Queiroz
Albert, 7, Bimala, 9, Krishna, 6, and Lakshmi, 4, were apparently abducted by their non-custodial father from Hileah, Florida on January 28, 2007. The children were found safe in March 2009.

Robert F. Ebright

Ebright, 56, disappeared from Pataskala, Ohio on July 20, 2007. In March 2009, police found his body buried in the backyard of a home in Hebron, Ohio. He had been shot to death. The prime suspect in Ebright's case is presently incarcerated on unrelated charges in a Texas prison. His brother owns the house where Ebright's body was found. The suspect is being interviewed, but no charges have been filed as of this writing.

Brett, 13, and his siblings Bjorn, 17, and Kaitlyn, 15, were abducted by their non-custodial mother from West Chicago, Illinois on October 18, 2006. In March 2009, the children were found safe with their mother and stepfather in Park County, Colorado. The children's mother was arrested. Brett and Kaitlyn were taken into protective custody and will be reunited with their searching father. Bjorn wasn't taken because he is now an adult.

Trollinger, 16, disappeared from Garden Grove, California on September 7, 1985. Her body was found in Riverside County, California in 1986; she was a homicide victim. She wasn't identified until 2009. Her murder remains under investigation.

Michelle Gina Valdez

Valdez, 22, disappeared from Albuquerque, New Mexico on September 22, 2004. In February 2009, her skeletal remains were found at a construction site in the West Mesa area. Valdez was pregnant at the time of her death and her fetus was found also. Nine other skeletons were found nearby. Authorities are working to identify all the victims.

Patterson's family reported her missing in November 2008. They hadn't heard from her since November 2004. Patterson was arrested for shoplifting in Phoenix, Arizona in March 2007 and this was the last confirmed notice of her whereabouts. She was found deceased later that month, but her family wasn't notified until February 2009, four months after they filed the missing persons report. Little information is available about her death.

Katharine, 8, and Robert, 7, were abducted by their non-custodial grandparents from Murfreesboro, Tennessee on March 1, 1989. The grandparents had accused Katharine and Robert's parents of sexually abusing them, but the allegations were unfounded. In February 2009, the children and their grandfather were found living in San Jose, California under assumed names. Their grandmother died two years ago. The Baskins' grandfather was arrested. The children's parents and two siblings hope to be reunited with Katharine and Robert.
