Cuevas, 47, disappeared from Coral Springs, Florida on November 3, 2007. His partial dismembered remains were found in a steel box near Beeline Highway and Jog Road in October 2008. The body was not identified until July 2009. Because all the parts were not recovered, authorities don't know the cause of death.

Taylor Deaner White
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
White, 7, was abducted by her non-custodial mother from Los Angeles, California on July 12, 2002. She was located safe in Papillon, Nebraska in July 2009. A woman who worked with her mother recognized White's picture on an ADVO card and notified authorities. White has been taken into protective custody pending a reunion with her father, and her mother has been arrested.

Jeannie Marie Melville

Melville, 18, disappeared from Green Bay, Wisconsin sometime during August 1970. Her nude body was found in October 1970 in a cornfield in Darke County, Ohio. She had been asphyxiated. Melville's body was not identified until July 2009, nearly thirty-nine years after her disappearance. Her killer has never been caught.

Miller, 80, disappeared from Big Clifty, Kentucky on September 7, 2001. In April 2009, her remains were found a few miles from her home. DNA testing identified Miller's body in July. Authorities believe she was the victim of a homicide.

Bell, 27, disappeared from Cisco, Texas on December 26, 2007. In July 2009, his skeletal remains were found southeast of town. There was no indication of foul play and the investigation into his disappearance and death has been closed.

John William Gustafson
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
Gustafson, 42, disappeared from West Richmond County, Georgia on July 23, 1999. In 2007, his bones were found in the woods off of Austin Graybill Road, not far from where his car was found abandoned three days after his disappearance. Gustafson's remains were not identified until July 2009. Authorities have yet to determine a cause of death and they are still investigating.

Terry Kimball
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
Terry, 60, disappeared from Westminster, Colorado sometime in 2004. He was living with his nephew, Scott Kimball, at the time. Scott is a suspected serial killer who has been linked to two murders and one disappearance besides his uncle's. In July 2009, Scott lead authorities to Terry's mummified body in a remote mountain pass near Vail, Colorado. In exchange for his information, he will not face charges in Terry's death. He is already serving 48 years in prison for other crimes.

Fernando, 11, Karla, 7, and Oscar, 6, were abducted by their father from Chicago, Illinois on April 18, 2008. Their mother was found dead in the family's apartment and, after he fled with the children, their father was charged with her murder. The Casanova children were found safe in July 2009. It's unclear whether their father has been arrested.

Ben Bartholomew Maurer
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
Maurer, 17, disappeared from Dunellen, New Jersey on June 25, 2002. His case was classified as a runaway at the time. In July 2009, his body was identified. Maurer died in New York City the day after his disappearance, and he was buried in a potter's field six weeks later after efforts to identify him failed. The cause of death has not been released, but authorities stated foul play was not involved. Maurer's remains have been returned to his family.

Christopher Leo Sanchez, Daniel Isiah Sanchez and Richard Anthony Sanchez

Christopher, 2, Daniel 8, and Richard Anthony, 12, were abducted by their non-custodial father, Richard Robert Sanchez, from Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 11, 2001. There was concern for the boys' safety, as Richard Robert had been charged with raping his wife's sister in front of her child. In June 2009, Richard Robert's car was found submerged in Cochiti Lake in central New Mexico. The three children's bodies were inside it, as well as an adult's body, presumably Richard Robert. The bodies may have been there since shortly after the children were abducted. The investigation into their deaths is ongoing.

Baker, 25, disappeared from Clarksburg, West Virginia sometime during July 2008. In June 2009, her remains were found near Route 57 in Barbour county. James Childers, a local handyman, mailed a tape to the police confessing to four acts of arson and five homicides, including Baker's murder, and revealing the location of Baker's body and one other. He committed suicide before police could arrest him.

Baker, 19, disappeared from Taylorsville, North Carolina on April 14, 2007. In June 2009, his remains were found behind a home on Eulalia Lane near Catawba, North Carolina. A suspect, John Mitchell Jr., has been arrested and charged with Baker's murder. Authorities believe the homicide was drug-related.

Dylan, 4, and Taylor, 5, were abducted by their non-custodial mother from Siloam Springs, Arkansas on December 13, 1997. They were found safe in Quinton, Oklahoma in June 2009; they'd been living with their mother, stepfather and two younger half-siblings. The mother and her husband were arrested, and all four children were taken into protective custody. Their custodial father hopes to meet Dylan and Taylor soon and re-establish a relationship with them.

Rodriguez, 19, disappeared from Singleton, Texas on October 3, 2004. In October 2008, his remains were found in a wooded area near his parents' home. Rodriguez was identified in June 2009. Foul play has been ruled out in his death, and the case has been closed.
