Michael Patrick Mallory
Mallory, 50, disappeared from Glide, Oregon on March 24, 2008. In December 2009, he was found safe in San Diego, California. He had been living there for about eight months, then went to visit Mexico. Upon his return to the United States, border officials realized he was listed as a missing person. Police have closed his case, as no crime was committed.

George Steven Yager

Yager, 47, disappeared from Sacramento, California on June 13, 1997. The next day, his body was found in the 4300 block of Garden Highway. He had been murdered. Yager's remains weren't identified until December 2009, twelve and a half years after his death. His homicide is under investigation.

Donna Mae Dowell
The Sacramento Bee
Dowell, 68, disappeared from Milpitas, California on December 20, 2008. In December 2009, her body was found in her abandoned 2002 Honda Accord parked three hundred yards offroad at Ed Levin County Park in rural Santa Clara County, not far from Milpitas. Investigators are still trying to determine how Dowell died, but she had been depressed and suicidal prior to her disappearance.

Randy Delyn Bratschi

Bratschi, 54, disappeared from Florence, South Carolina on November 26, 2004. In July 2009, his skeletal remains were found buried under his former residence, a trailer off Old Georgetown Road between Scranton and Coward, South Carolina. The body wasn't identified until December. Bratschi's wife has been charged with his murder, and her son has been charged with misprison of a felony for not reporting the crime. Investigators stated more arrests are possible.

Woods-Cale, 27, disappeared from Elkins, West Virginia on March 24, 2002. In November 2009, her skeletal remains were found under a shed on her husband's property. She had been beaten to death. The body was identified in December and Woods-Cale's husband has been charged with murder.
Molina, 15, ran away from her Independence, Missouri home on April 20, 2007. She was found safe in December 2009.
